Kanda SAORI

Kanda Saori was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, and graduated from the Visual Communication Design Department of the Faculty of Art and Design at Musashino Art University.

Taking "body and patterns" as the creative theme, SAORI creates design paintings, clothing making, BODYPAINT, and LIVEPAINT. Moved by the beauty of the world and Japan since childhood, SAORI uses skin, soil, paper, and clothes as canvases, combining them with sound, images, dance, and lights, condensing these beautiful details and things into pieces of art, impromptu hand-painted, scattered forms but concentrated spirits, and compositions full of tension.
